In 1984, the OAA held a competition among its members to design a dog house. The intent was to bring architectural design sensibilities to a commonly overlooked element of the built environment. Many of the entries (now lost to posterity) displayed the technical ingenuity and aesthetic sensibility that might be expected from Ontario’s professional architects. This entry, an outlier, and possibly prophetic, caught the jury’s eye.
